Lorraine has been racing for 16 years. During that time, Lorraine has proved to be competitive in various categories of motorsport.

Lorraine started racing in 1995 in an MG Midget in the MG Owners Club Championship, winning the championship in 2001.

From 2002, she raced in various Britsports meetings and the Orwell Supersports Cup.  In the last 5 years, Lorraine has been competing and working within the Historic Motorsport arena.  She has achieved various class wins and the Formula Junior Lady’s Cup in two consecutive years.  As well as racing a Lotus 18, she has also had one-off outings in a Royale RP11 and Chevron B34 Atlantic cars.

In 2009, Lorraine won her class in The Algarve Historic Race meeting, her first international status win.  In 2010, Lorraine competed in a number of events in a Series 1 Lotus Elan including Portemao Circuit in Portugal, Monteblanco Circuit in Spain; Spa in Belgium, and Silverstone, Brands Hatch and Snetterton in the UK.

2011 Lorraine competed in endurance races ranging from 40 minutes to 2 hours, in a Lotus Elan in HSCC Guards Trophy and Masters Gentleman Drivers events, claiming the class win at Barcelona; 2nd at Spa; 3rd at Brands Hatch; 3rd at Porto; with fastest laps at Barcelona, Brands Hatch, Porto, Silverstone GP and Spa.
