GAIL HILL
Gail is a NHS Care Home Manager who started racing in 2002 after going on a track day in her Jaguar.
Since then she has been racing in the Jaguar XJ-S Championship, achieving numerous class wins and podiums. In 2005, she became Class D Champion and in 2006 she took the overall championship with 9 class wins from 10 race starts.
In 2003, Gail was awarded the BWRDC’s Jean Denton Newcomers Trophy and in 2006 she received the clubs Goodwin Trophy and Embassy Trophy as the overall champion.
Gail has also raced in the Birkett 6 Hour Relay Race on several occasions, taking the overall win in 2009 in a team of Jaguars. She also achieved a podium in the Britcar Production Championship in 2009 in a MGZS.
In 2010, Gail raced in the Jaguar Classic Parts Saloon/JEC XJ-S Championship and finished 3rd in Class B and 4th overall.
In 2011, Gail was racing a 4 litre XJ40 in the Jaguar Classic Parts Saloon/JEC XJ-S Championship when she had many class wins and overall podiums. She ended the year as Class B winner and top Jaguar saloon driver and was runner up in overall championship.
