Liz Haliday was born in San Diego, California but now lives in West Sussex in the UK. She started racing in 1997 in a vintage Datsun 510. In 2001, she moved on to the Kumho BMW Championship, earning She had her first taste of the Le Mans Endurance Series in 2003, along with a part season in the British GT Championship, taking one win and two podiums along the way. With races in ALMS under her belt, Liz took on the famous Le Mans 24 hours in 2005, 2006 and 2007 and has been involved in endurance racing ever since. Susie Wolff (formerly Susie Stoddart) is one of the world’s top female racing drivers and has been a works DTM driver for Mercedes-Benz since 2006 - something she hopes to continue in 2012. Susie regularly trades lap times with many of her team-mates and competitors that include former F1 and Le Mans stars. Susie finished her first race in 10th place, a position she has repeated each year in the cut-and-thrust DTM series. A former World Championship Karter with numerous championship titles to her credit, Susie graduated to Formula Renault UK Championship for 2003, finishing 9th in her first season and with several podiums in 2004, finished 5th in the championship. In 2005 she contested the British Formula 3 International Championship. Her outstanding performances won her many accolades including: BRDC Rising Star (’03); the first and only female to become a finalist in 2003 and 2004 for the coveted McLaren Autosport BRDC Young Driver Award. The following year ex-Formula 1 World Champion, Nigel Mansell, presented Susie with the BWRDC’s most prestigious award, the Lord Wakefield Trophy, for her outstanding success in single-seater racing. Susie is an Ambassador for Mercedes-Benz attending sponsor events, Mercedes-Benz dealer launches, international motor shows, charity gala sports balls, fashion shoots, international fashion shows as well as demonstrating her driving technique with VIP taxi-rides.
